Languages at Rachel’s Kinderkrippe

At Rachel’s Kinderkrippe, the emotional and linguistic well-being of the child is at the heart of our philosophy. Located in an international environment, we offer a primarily German-speaking setting, combined with individual language support tailored to each child’s natural rhythm.

German and Swiss German as the main languages

The main language of the daycare is German, with daily exposure to Swiss German. Daily routines and group life take place mainly in these languages, helping children integrate naturally into their local environment.

Gentle exposure to English through activities

Some activities are offered in English, in a playful and informal way. Through songs, games, stories and creative moments, children are gently introduced to English without pressure or formal instruction.

The goal is a natural and stress-free introduction that respects each child’s development.

A truly multilingual team

Our team consists of experienced professionals who speak several languages and can support children and families in:

German

Swiss German

English

French

Italian

Spanish

Hebrew

Hindu/Tamil

This linguistic diversity creates a welcoming and reassuring environment from the very first day.

A smooth and reassuring integration

If a child already speaks one of these languages, our team adapts naturally to ensure a gentle start. This approach supports emotional security and allows for a progressive integration without linguistic disruption.
